Dr. Tiffany Drach DVM
Owner
​Dr. Tiffany Drach DVM has resided in Kent Ohio since graduating from The Ohio State University of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. After her first five years practicing at Banks and Beutel Veterinary Hospital in Kent, Dr. Drach took a position at Boston Heights Veterinary Hospital where she expanded her surgical and medical skills. She has worked closely with Roses Rescue for the last fourteen years and looks forward to continuing to provide care for their animals in need. Dr. Drach is excited to own her own practice in Rootstown where she has built a state of the art facility, practices high quality medicine, and provides compassionate care to the community.

Dr. Drach leads a busy home life with her husband Bryan, twin boys Jacob and Cameron, and youngest son Tristan. She truly enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. As a family, they have rescued several pets over the years including their current dog Chubbs. Dr. Drach recognizes the importance pets play in a family and the need to help find homes for pets in need of that family.

Dr. Emily deCardenas
DVM
Dr. Emily deCárdenas DVM is a 2014 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She is a Kent native who has returned to the area to practice veterinary medicine. She spent time after graduation working in shelter medicine as well as high quality high volume spay/neuter. Dr. deCárdenas loves providing high quality, compassionate care for the animals of the community. Dr. deCárdenas lives with her husband Dailey, their 3 dogs Rhubarb, Ginger, and Pinto, their cat Cornbread! In her free time she enjoys baking, cooking and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Sara Amport
DVM
Dr. Amport joined Rootstown Veterinary Hospital in March of 2023. She attended Hiram College for undergraduate studies and then Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She spent her first few years in a general small animal practice setting. She lives in Ravenna with her boyfriend Alex, 4 dogs (Maisie, Raina, Ox, and Roscoe) and 6 cats (Bentley (pictured), Lincoln, Finley, Carter, Stevie and Leonard). Her interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine and preventative care. Her favorite holiday is Halloween because fall is her absolute favorite season.
Her hobbies include reading, spending time with family and friends, home improvement projects, hiking with her many dogs, spending quality time with her many cats and exploring new places to have fun in Northeast Ohio.

Dr. Kayleen McLain
DVM
Dr. Kayleen McLain graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She has practiced veterinary medicine with large and small animals in Oregon for 5 years before moving to small animals only for the past 4 years in Washington. Her interests include a focus on both Western and Eastern medicine including acupuncture.
In her spare time, she enjoys being outside hiking and backpacking with her three dogs, Dohv, Jack, and Breeze! She also enjoys gardening, birdwatching, spending time with friends, and chilling with her two cats, Sapphira and Ryu.

Corinne
Lead Technician
​Corinne has been a Veterinarian Technician for over 25 years! She started in this field while living in Florida. She now resides in Stow with her husband Brian, daughter Alyssa, and son Anthony. She also has two dogs named Jersey and Zeke, and one cat named Sport which were all rescues. She has had a lifelong interest in caring for animals and working with this wonderful staff at RVH which allows her to accomplish that.

Amanda
RVT
Amanda graduated from Ross Medical Education Center for Veterinary Technology in 2022. She then passed the VTNE to become a registered veterinary technician. In her free time she enjoys playing videogames, cuddling on the couch with her cats, and spending time with her boyfriend while watching their favorite shows. She takes great pleasure in helping and working with each animal she gets to meet in hopes to have them live happier and healthier lives.

Ashley
Technician
Ashley graduated from Stautzenberger College for Veterinary Technology in 2016. She has been working in the veterinary field for the over 10 years. Ashely is currently working to become Fear Free certified and would love to learn more about animal behavior. She loves all animals, but has a huge soft spot for Bulldogs and Elephants!

Nikki
Technician
Nikki attended Stautzenberger college and has been in the veterinary field for over 10 years! She has a special interest in surgery and feline behavior. She has 6 animals in total, 3 dogs named Moose, Guinever, and Leo, and 3 cats named Honky Tonk, Beannifer, and Michelin. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends, cooking, gardening, going on a nice run, and brewing her own kombucha.

Nicole
Assistant
Nicole graduated from Northcoast's Veterinary Assisting program in 2012 and currently resides in Randolph, OH. She started her career doing rescue and emergency care. After taking a 2 year break she decided to jump back into the field. She has a strong interest in canine behavior and training. She hopes to be able to train a dog for the show ring. In her free time she enjoys hanging outdoors with family and friends, going to Cruze-In's and car shows in her 1970 VW beetle. She currently has 1Pit Bull named GiGi, 1 Doberman named Letty, 7 cats, and 6 snakes! In her free time she recently started doing agility training with Letty.

Connor
Assistant
Connor is currently in college at Penn Foster to become a Veterinary Technician. His hometown is Ashland, OH and is currently residing in Ravenna, OH. He graduated from Ashland High School and Ashland County West Holmes Career Center in 2021 for Animal Science. He previously has been working at a reproductive mixed practice, and has been in the field for over 3 years now! He also has 2 dogs, named Keno and Birdy. In his free time he likes playing games and taking care of his plants and animals.

Tristan
Assistant
Tristan has been a huge asset to our clinic since joining our team! He is currently an undergraduate student at Cleveland State University, pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine. He has been actively working in the field for over 4 years with small animals, equine, and other large animals. Once he completes his undergraduate he hopes to attend The Ohio State University to get his doctorate in veterinary medicine. In his free time he enjoys skating, spending time with his pets, and volunteering at the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter!

Ray
Assistant
Ray graduated from Northcoast's Veterinary Assisting program in 2017 and found enjoyment working in the veterinary field. She has been in the field for a little over 6 years and has loved every minute of it. She is currently enrolled at Penn Foster College to further her education into becoming a licensed Veterinary Technician. She lives with her daughter Charity, her son Exten, her 3 dogs, and 4 cats. In her free time she really enjoys reading, walking the dogs, and spending quality time with her family.

Haley
Assistant
Haley grew up an avid animal lover in Kent, OH so it’s not a surprise she got into the animal field not long after high school. She started her veterinary career in boarding and daycare where she worked her way up to veterinary medicine as an assistant. She has now been in the field for about 12 years! She has a crazy gang of animals at home that consists of three cats; Mufasa, Posty, and Njoku, and a Pitbull named Hondo. When she's not at work you can find her hanging out with family and friends, reading a good thriller, going to concerts, and catching some rays in the sun.

Autumn
Assistant
Autumn is currently in school studying parasite cytology and animal grooming. She plans to further her studies in animal care at Tri-C College. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her younger siblings, reading, and hanging out with her dogs Junior and Tyson. She hopes to expand her knowledge in the animal world while working in the kennel, helping technicians, and doctors on staff in the best ways she can.

Siera
Lead Client Service Representative
Siera grew up in Kent, Ohio and currently lives in Stow, Ohio with her boyfriend Tanner, her three handsome kitties, Wallace, Ouija, and Moon, and their dog Spiral. She has grown up in the veterinary field due to her mom being a registered technician for over the past 20 years which peaked her interested in animal care. She has previously worked at animal shelters and loved helping animals find their forever homes. She has also owned many pets over the years including rats, a guinea pig, and more! She enjoys thrifting, learning about astrology, listening to music, being with friends and family, and spending time at home with her animals.

Sara
Client Service Representative
Sara has lived in Ohio her entire life. She was originally in the medical field as an STNA and has switched to veterinary care due to her love for animals. She is very good with technology and plans to pursue a career. She enjoys spending endless amounts of time with her 2 cats, Garfield and Orianna. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Jackie
Client Service Representative
Jackie has been involved with animals her entire life and has owned a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, horses, snakes, mice, rats, gerbils, fish, etc. She also has her LMT and is working towards her canine massage certification. Jackie is involved in the rescue world, she has fostered many dogs through Buckeye Australian Cattle Dog Rescue and loves being able to help find dogs their forever homes! When she's not at the clinic she enjoys spending time with her two Australian Cattle Dogs, Gambler and Splash who are both sport dogs. She also enjoys teaching obedience, rally, and agility part-time at Dawg Gone It in Seville!

Erika
Client Service Representative
Erika has lived in Ohio her whole life growing up in Massillon, Ohio. She now lives in Springfield Township, OH with her husband and son. They have 1 dog and 2 cats and look forward to starting a “mini farm” in the future. She started her Veterinary journey as a receptionist then started school to be a technician. She changed paths and was out of the field for a bit but, couldn't resist her love for the field and for animals. She is looking forward to getting back into school after having children. In her free time, she enjoys watching true crime, caring for animals, and going on cruises with her family!

Kalie
Kennel Staff
Kalie has been in the veterinary field for a little over 6 years and loves every second. She owns 2 dogs of her own, one Frenchie named Remi and a Pug named Tank. Along with her two dogs, she has two daughters named Laniona and Oaklynn. In her free time she really enjoys quality time with her family and pets.
